FIRESTORM, my fourth Young Adult novel, is completed, edited twice by myself and now in the hands of a close friend.
I have started a new painting, an old abandoned homestead, and will call it NO TRESPASSING. I often find it difficult to work on as my writing activities take most of my time.
I always have my camera with me, and right now I am following a Northern Flicker family frequenting our bird feeders. The Magpies and Crows are always close by, and the song birds have finally returned. Juncos, Chickadees, Red Breasted Nuthatches, and a few Song Sparrows keep me entertained as I sit at my table, my computer in front of me, working on my writing and answering email.
We miss our children, grandchildren and great grandchildren as it has been a long time since we have seen any of them. Thank goodness for telephones and Facetime. Our second great granddaughter will be joining our family in late February.
